Prof Dr. Quazi Quamruzzaman, Chairman of DCHT, along with other respectable members attended AMCDRR (Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Managements) meeting on reduction of disaster risks which held from 2nd to 5th Nov, 2016 in New Delhi,India. On 3rd Nov,the ceremony was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi . Other representatives from Asia Pacific included India, Srilanka, Japan, Myanmar and Indonesia. Prof.Quazi Quamruzzaman rad a paper on “Frontier & future of medical/health sectors collaboration in DDR” in session2. The motto of this visit is to attend AMCDRR to share DCH Trust DDR activities through exhibition-booth at conference in 2016 and also to learn about India through social visit. DCHT used the methods of enhancement of the communication skills among the international organizations and also have got information regarding DRR as well. As being the part of conference participants other respectable members of DCHT Mr.Golam Mostafa (Project Director), Mr.Sukumar Chakrabortty (Director Finance) Dr. Omar Shareef, Mr. Ronjit Haldar, Dr.Harunar Rashid, Mr. Ronjit Haldar, Abu-Sayeed had to collect the exhibition card from VigyanBhaban,(Maan Sing Gate) and to manage DCHT stall in AMCDRR exhibition pavilion from 2nd to 5th Nov, 2016. The team of DCH Trust visited Taj Mahal Agra fort, Red fort, Qutub Minar, Delhi Jama Masjid, Humayun tomb, Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah & attended several conferences those held in Vigyan Bhavan. According to the program schedule, DCHT successfully completed their mission which was very helpful to increase knowledge & capacity on DDR activities. DCHT team returned to Bangladesh on 07 November, 2016.
